Jofogás

Storyline concept / Art Direction / illustrations

The challenge

Jófogás, Hungary’s equivalent of eBay, wanted to drive awareness of its mobile app. Many users still associated the platform with desktop, despite its everyday usefulness on mobile.

The challenge was to shift that behaviour, and show that items people no longer use could still hold value for someone else.

Voiceover in english: “Take a look around your home, there’s something that’s not your style anymore. Swap it for something you actually love. Use the Jófogás app and buy and sell smart.”

Concept

I joined the project after the initial concept had been set, taking ownership of the storytelling and art direction. Each film’s narrative and visual world was developed from there.

This was also my first project creating the illustrations myself.

Voiceover in english: “Look around your home, you’ll definitely find something you’ve already reached your limits with, and you can swap it for something that takes you onto new roads. Use the Jófogás app and buy and sell smart.”

Voiceover in english: “Bored of it? Don’t need it? Not using it? Snap it, upload it to the Jófogás app, and top up your wallet.”
